The existing manufacturing innovation system has been difficult to meet the needs of economic and social development. It is urgent to deploy the innovation chain around the industrial chain, improve the capital chain around the innovation chain, and target the weak links of manufacturing development on the basis of giving full play to the role of existing innovation carriers, Create a high-level and distinctive national manufacturing innovation platform and network, form a manufacturing innovation system with the manufacturing innovation center as the core node, promote China's manufacturing industry to leap to the middle and high end of the value chain, and provide experimental purpose support for the construction of a manufacturing power

(II) main objectives

the national manufacturing innovation platform includes the national manufacturing innovation center and the provincial manufacturing innovation center. In accordance with the overall deployment and requirements of "made in China 2025" and "guidelines", a number of manufacturing innovation centers will be built around the major common needs of the transformation and upgrading of key industries and the innovation and development of new generation information technology, intelligent manufacturing, additive manufacturing, new materials, biomedicine and other fields. By 2020, about 15 national manufacturing innovation centers will be formed; By 2025, about 40 national manufacturing innovation centers will be formed. III. basic principles
